Stazione Sperimentale per l'industria delle pelli e delle materie concianti srl (SSIP) is a national research organization recognized under EU Regulation No. 651/2014 in the fields of Tanning Chemistry and Technology and registered in the National Research Registry of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MUR). The SSIP develops and promotes process, product, and service innovation in the tanning industry to improve its international competitiveness through production quality, technological development, and environmental sustainability. This benefits the entire supply chain and its main target markets: furniture, automotive, footwear, interiors, fashion, and leather goods.
